    1. Entrepreneurship Day: Colorado Mesa University
      8:00 AM – 1:30 PM

      The seventh annual Entrepreneurship Day, hosted by the Department of Business at Colorado Mesa University, will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. The day will be full of informative and fun sessions highlighting local entrepreneurs and professionals, as well as the founder of a well-known outdoor apparel company. Join us as these individuals share their expertise, success stories and tips for growing businesses through turbulent times and blossoming economies.

      Hap Klopp, founder of The North Face will speak at the keynote event.

      Proceeds from E Day will create scholarships for Business Department students.

      Breakout Sessions

      Breakout sessions will be held from 8:00 – 11:00 am. All breakout sessions will be held in the Academic Classroom Building (campus map). Admission for these sessions are free and they are open to the public.

      A full schedule of sessions and events will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

      Idea Challenge

      The Idea Challenge competition is an opportunity to pitch a business idea to a panel of judges and a chance to win cash and prizes. The presentation is modeled after an elevator pitch which literally means “tell me about your business within the time that it would take to ride up an elevator.”

      There will be separate university and high school competitions. The Idea Challenege is open to any student who would like to participate.

    2. Accounting for Entrepreneurs – Part 1 and 2
